A Mathematician's Lament

Math is an art, not a science. During my final quarter of my last year of college (the busiest one of all), I had a professor that understood this. I’ve always had the ability to understand and explain math, but the drudgery of most classes caused a lack of real interest. In this final class, I got an A, without even thinking about it.
